For this reason, we are doing our best to establish ourselves as a point of reference and meeting place where anyone can join without needing to be an expert in anything—just the right attitude is enough.

In simple terms, we are tinkerers who aren’t afraid to get our hands dirty to satisfy our curiosity. We want to meet new people, work together, learn and to do so, we plan to offer courses, conferences, workshops, lab experiences, group projects and any other kind of initiative that comes to mind.

The association is mainly funded by its members through membership fees and various fundraising ideas.
