Through hole electronics part storage

We're almost done organizing the SMD components we own, but we haven't yet started with the through hole components, mostly due to the fact that we don't know where to put them.

When I was living in the Netherlands I had the pleasure to visit the Den Haag hackerspace and they had an amazing shelving unit with all their components. I really want to replicate that setup, placing it near the electronics table, in between the column and the wall where we enter the Aula Associazioni (TODO: picture)

The setup

I essentially want to build a couple (4?) wooden boxes. Each will house 6 Allit Flex 37 storage boxes, with removable compartments. These inner boxes can also be 3d printed, but it's probably easier to just buy them.
